Elina Pisko is a freelance illustrator from Helsinki, Finland. Although they initially worked in various non-artistic fields, a deep connection to stories and books led them to study literature at the University of Helsinki. It was here that Elina started to draw again, finding inspiration in cities and people surrounding them, as well as nature, reflecting cherished memories of their own childhood. They enjoy drawing diverse, playful characters in special and everyday moments from family life, capturing their beauty in tiny detail. Elina is drawn to cheerful and humorous narratives, but also has a strong interest towards contemporary issues affecting people and the environment. Their primary technique is digital illustration with the analogue feel.
